Range from $200 to $1,200, based on artistic achievement. Portfolios are due March 2010. |
| Music |
Any students, regardless of academic major may audition for a music scholarship. Recipients are selected on the basis of musical talent, academic progress, leadership, and participation in music activities. Contact the Music Dept. for the dates at (620) 341-5432. |
| Debate |
Emporia State Debate gives awards ranging up to full tuition scholarships. Awards generally increase as you stay involved with the program. Students must be admitted to ESU before awards are offered. |
| Theatre |
All incoming students (freshmen or transfer) who wish to be considered for a theatre scholarship at Emporia State University must audition and/or interview with the ESU theatre faculty. Scholarship auditions for the 2010-11 academic year are during the months of December 2009 and February 2010. You may contact the Theatre Dept. at (620) 341-5256 for more info. |
| Dance |
The ESU Stinger Dance Team consists of 8-10 women. The squad's primary focus is to generate school spirit and lead the crowd in support of Emporia State University athletic teams. Tryouts will be in April 2010. Scholarships are $400 per semester. |
