My Mother and Father. Both have worked extremely hard their entire lives and never give up on anything. They are successful entrepreneurs and are some of the best role models a girl could have.

About Me:
I am the youngest of 5 from a small town in Kansas. My family means the world to me. I love to learn new things and be open to new ideas. Working out, tanning, going to Church, warm rainy days are just a few of my favorite things. Before I came to Emporia, I played volleyball for two years at a small community college in Northeast Kansas. I do have to say I really miss the volleyball, but I do love Emporia. I think it was a pretty good trade :)

This summer I am interning as a marketing and sales assistant in Shanghai, China. I am so very excited but so very nervous!

Why Emporia:
Emporia was the right school for me for a few reasons. I love the size, I love the location, and I love the education I am getting. How much better could it be?

Best aspects of Emporia:
I work on campus, and I have never loved a job more because of the people I work with. They are amazing. It's not just in my office, it's everywhere. Everyone is always willing to help.
